Meet Georgiah Russell

Georgiah Russell
B.A., QMHP
I am a Qualified Professional at Coastal Behavior Health Services, where I have been serving foster families and youth for the past two years. In my role, I assist with placement coordination and provide ongoing support to ensure children are placed in stable, nurturing environments that meet their individual needs.
I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and am currently pursuing my Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. My education has strengthened my understanding of trauma-informed care, child development, and family systems, allowing me to support foster families with both compassion and clinical knowledge.
As the designated Support Professional, I work closely with foster parents throughout the placement process and beyond. My goal is to ensure families feel prepared, confident, and fully supported every step of the way.
I am deeply passionate about working with youth and empowering foster families to create safe, structured, and healing homes where children can grow and thrive.
